Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held on December 8. The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a strong pillar and legal guarantee of social development, a bright symbol of the independence of the Uzbek state.
This holiday was dedicated to the first International online conference "Constitution Day of the great, ancient and happy country!", held at the Belarusian-Uzbek Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications with the participation of associate professors of constitutional law department of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University, Uzbek students of the Belarusian National Technical University, students of joint educational programs from the Uzbek partner universities, as well as the teaching staff and.
The event was opened by the Director of the Belarus-Uzbekistan Interindustry Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications Professor Igor Ivanovich Gancherenok, who congratulated the conference participants on the important state holiday, and noted that Uzbekistan today - is a dynamically developing country, in which the Eastern color and modernity, democratic statehood and effective system of public administration, social orientation of public policy and principles of a just society are harmoniously intertwined, Next year will be the 30th anniversary year since the adoption of Uzbekistan's first constitution. President Sh. Mirziyoyev has announced further development of the Basic Law to harmonize it with contemporary realities of social development and improve the foundation of the Strategy for the development of a modern Uzbek state.
During the conference a student from KIEI prepared and made a presentation on "Article of the Constitution, which means for me...". The moderator of the conference, methodologist of the Institute Yelizaveta Bayko made a detailed presentation prepared by the methodological staff of the Institute and conducted a blitz-quiz with interesting questions and facts about Uzbekistan, for example, "Is the Republic of Uzbekistan a "double land locked country?" and others.
The conference ended with good wishes from the direction of the Institute on New Year's Eve and parting words to achieve good results in the winter exam session.
