Today, September 10, team relay races “Fun Starts: Freshman vs. Upperclassmen” were held on the football field near the academic building No. 15 of the Belarusian National Technical University.
Teams from the Sports and Technical Faculty, the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization, the Construction Faculty, and the Faculty of Energy Construction took part in the event. From the very first minutes, it was clear that the participants were in for a serious challenge.
The sports program included volleyball and football. A truly intense struggle unfolded on the volleyball court. The participants demonstrated precise serves, coordinated defensive actions, and an unwavering desire to score even in the most hopeless rallies. Every serve, reception, and shot was accompanied by the support of teammates — on the court, it wasn’t just a game, but a real team effort.
The football matches were no less intense. The teams quickly shifted from defense to attack, not giving the opponent a single second of respite. Real competition was raging on the field: the players covered for each other, fought to the end to win the ball, and didn’t give up until the final whistle. Each match kept both the participants and the fans on edge, and the climax sometimes came in the final minutes.
Based on the results of all the games, the teams from the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization and the Sports and Technical Faculty shared first place. However, the participants of each team took away a good mood, team spirit, and symbolic gifts.
Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who took to the sports ground today! May the sporting spirit never fade, and may the next matches be just as exciting!
