On September 8, a specialized presentation on attracting investments and a Chinese-Belarusian B2B meeting for trade and economic negotiations took place at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone. The event brought together more than 150 participants and became an important platform for deepening bilateral cooperation.
From the Belarusian National Technical University, the meeting was attended by Yury Nikolaychik, Vice‑Rector for Academic Affairs, as well as specialists from the Faculty of International Cooperation, Yaroslav Bazhko and Polina Dubovik.
Opening the official part, Vitaly Zholnerovich, Deputy Director of the National Agency for Investment and Privatization of Belarus, addressed the participants:
“Dear partners, on behalf of the National Agency for Investment and Privatization, allow me to welcome you to Belarus and thank you for your personal visit to this event. Our activities are aimed at enhancing the country’s investment image abroad, as well as at assisting foreign businesses in the successful implementation of their projects.” I hope that after today’s presentation, you will learn more about our country and the business environment.
As part of the business program, Liu Jiadan, Director of SINOMACHBEL LLC, provided participants with a detailed overview of the preferential policy of the industrial park and investment opportunities. It is important to note that, in addition to industrial and technological innovations, educational initiatives are also being developed. Thus, smoothly transitioning to the topic of humanitarian exchange, during the presentation of the SINOMACH “Torch” Park, the director noted the organization’s successful support in signing an agreement on the joint establishment of the China‑Belarus Institute of Outstanding Engineers — a large‑scale project being implemented by BNTU together with Nanjing University and SINOMACH Digital Corporation.
After the presentations were completed, representatives of the business and education sectors moved on to the practical part — bilateral B2B negotiations and a tour of the industrial park’s exhibition hall.
After the presentations, the participants moved on to a substantive dialogue in the format of bilateral B2B negotiations, discussing opportunities for joint projects, and also familiarized themselves with the infrastructure of the park’s exhibition hall during a tour. The meeting set an excellent start for further work. Tomorrow, September 9, the “Exhibition of Chinese Goods and Services (Belarus) 2026” will start, and representatives of the Belarusian National Technical University will also attend it.
