The FMMP professor made a working trip to Marwadi University

Профессор ФММП совершил рабочую поездку в Университет Марвади

From July 23 to July 31, 2026, Alexander Ivanovich Tarasyonok, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor at the Department of “Intercultural Professional Communication” of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship at BNTU, made a working trip to Marwadi University, which is located in the city of Rajkot (India). The trip was carried out as part of the activities of the State Program “Intellectual Belarus” for 2026–2030.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the rector of the university, Professor Rajendrasingh Jadeja, at which the rector confirmed his commitment to cooperation with BNTU and supported the possibilities of university cooperation in the field of research and training of management specialists.

At the meeting with Professor Sanjeet Singh, Vice Rector for Research and Academic Affairs (Pro Vice-Chancellor), the current directions of possible future joint research in the field of sustainable development with a focus on the use of water resources were discussed.

During the meeting with the faculty, the experience of teaching disciplines related to business cultures was studied. Personal meetings were held with the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Dr. Kirti Dutta, whose research and teaching interests are focused on brand management, neuromarketing, consumer behavior and service marketing.

The experience of Associate Professor Prosenjit Ghosh, whose research and teaching interests are focused on Marketing Analytics and market research, was studied in the field of destination marketing and data analysis. In particular, his computational approaches and cognitive psychological models (such as the Enhancement Likelihood Model), used to analyze how online reviews build consumer trust and influence their online behavior, were studied.

Marvadi University’s approach to marketing and business communications is characterized by a pronounced interdisciplinary nature. The faculty moves away from the traditional understanding of marketing as solely a sales tool, teaching students to synthesize IT analytics, neuroscience, global digital trends (including AI), and strategic brand management.

In addition, two lectures were held for students at the first and second levels of education at the Faculty of Management of Marvadi University on the topic “Traditions and Culture of Doing Business in Belarus,” and feedback was received from both students and faculty members.

Thus, Professor Alexander Ivanovich Tarasyonok’s business trip to Marwadi University became an important step in the development of international academic cooperation and made it possible to outline promising areas for joint scientific and educational work between BNTU and the Indian university.
