– Our participation in this exhibition is by no means accidental, because BNTU has a large number of contacts and relationships with universities and organizations in the People’s Republic of China. Today is a special day, because we are here at the exhibition to present our joint project with the Sinomach Digital company and Nanjing University.
After the opening ceremony, the honored guests were given a tour of the exhibition, which features the latest developments by Chinese companies. The guests’ attention was particularly drawn to the digital technologies of the “Sinomach Digital” company. The company’s stand showcases cars, auto components, machine tools and engineering equipment, solutions for smart manufacturing, medical equipment, consumer electronics, construction materials and plumbing. There are also themed sections dedicated to agricultural machinery and agrotechnologies, consumer goods, financial services, logistics and warehousing.
The guests examined the stand in more detail; it contains information about the Chinese‑Belarusian Institute of Outstanding Engineers, which was established jointly with BNTU. The rector of BNTU presented the joint project with the company “Sinomach Digital” and Nanjing University and spoke about the importance of establishing the institute.
“This is a technology that will make it possible to automate and speed up various design processes. At a new level, using artificial intelligence, based on platforms that take into account the specifics of individual fields, for example, tractor manufacturing,” said Sergey Kharitonchik.
For reference: BNTU is one of the key partners of Sinomach Digital. This cooperation is a vivid example of the successful integration of education and the real sector of the economy, opening up new horizons for students and teachers.
The exhibition plays a strategically important role in cooperation between Belarus and China. For BNTU, participation in such an event is an opportunity to integrate global innovative developments into the educational process and into real production facilities.
