Today, on August 18, a working meeting was held at the Belarusian National Technical University with a delegation from the Jiangsu Institute of Economics and Trade (PRC). During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of education and the implementation of joint projects in English.
On behalf of BNTU, the negotiations were attended by Nikolai Vishnyakov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation; Sergey Solodovnikov, Head of the Department of Economics and Law at the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization; Yulia Meleshko, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Law, Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization; Anastasia Malinovskaya, Head of the Economics and Law Laboratory, Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization; and Ksenia Lebedeva, Postgraduate Student at the Department of Economics and Law, Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization. The Chinese delegation included Peng Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute, Yang Xinglin, head of the International exchange Department, Chen Jinbo, secretary of the party branch of the Institute of Digital Business, Shen Yeloi, deputy head of the development planning department and the office for the construction of the "Two High Levels", Guo Menke, lecturer at the Institute of Modern Logistics.
During the negotiations, the BNTU delegation expressed its openness to negotiations on the education of Chinese students. Also, Sergey Solodovnikov has prepared the literature for clarity, which is published at the department and used during the training of students.
During the negotiations, issues related to the training of graduates from 14 colleges of the Jiangsu Institute at BNTU under programs for obtaining a higher education degree in a shortened period in the fields of engineering economics, digital technologies, and legal support for economic activities, as well as the admission of bachelor’s degree graduates from the Chinese institute to the master’s program at BNTU in the specialties “International Business Management,” “Psychology of Educational Environment Management,” and “Art Design,” were also considered.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed the possibility of opening joint master's degree programs with the issuance of diplomas from both universities for a total period of 2 years, including 1 year at the BNTU, and the implementation of full-time higher education programs for Chinese citizens in English in specialized engineering, economics and management specialties.
Following the talks, the parties outlined plans for future cooperation, which will contribute to the further development of academic ties between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China.
