The year 2023 is coming, and it's time to sum up and recall the most spectacular moments of the outgoing year. We present you the brightest and most memorable events that took place within the walls of the Belarusian National Technical University, through the prism of photographs and articles from our Media Center.
January
The first month of 2022 began elegantly, because the first event was the Christmas Ball of BNTU students. The first ski mass start of BNTU Winter School for foreigners also took place in January. And when, it seemed, there was almost a month since the celebration of the New Year, the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology of BNTU initiated a large-scale celebration of the Chinese New Year unfolded with master classes and thematic events.
February
The last month of winter can be proudly called the most athletic, because BNTU student Anton Smolsky won a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing. While Anton defended the honor of the country on the world sports arena, a mini-football tournament among the teams of fellow countrymen and a Healthy Day were held at our university.
March
The first festival of national cultures in the history of BNTU opened the warm spring season. It was followed by the third celebration of the New Year, and the next was Spring Holiday of the countries of Central Asia – Navruz. The end of March was marked by the final of the annual contest "The Best Study Group" and the totem cup of the winners was handed over to new owners.
April
The brightest and most intense month of spring on the very first day became significant thanks to the opening of a new sculptural composition "College boy and college girl", which is timed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the acquisition of BNTU the status of the national technical University. On the first Saturday of April there was an Open Day and the university received applicants within its walls. By the way, this month is considered the brightest due to the legendary festival of students’ creativity "Spring of BNTU", the results of which were summed up on April 15, 2022.
May
May days are not only the time before the session, but also a warm and gentle month, which pleased us with a new sporting event – the "Battle of the Six". Sports competitions were quickly replaced by restrained elegance and male beauty, because the very next day “Mister BNTU – 2022” was chosen. Besides, on the eve of a hot summer the BNTU Department of Cultural Affairs celebrated its anniversary.
June
It was time for the summer session when students prove their knowledge at the exams. But during this intense period BNTU representatives could find an opportunity to demonstrate their talents at the Republican Festival of Artistic Creativity of Students "Art-vakatsii", having received the Grand Prix for the first time. The members of construction teams also did not sit still and were the first to go to the All-Belarusian youth building site. And what was the most prominent that the best of those who had passed all their exams long before, i.e. the BNTU honors graduates took part in the Republican Ball of graduates of higher education institutions.
