On October 22, the long-awaited celebration for first-year students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (MSF) — "Freshman Day 2026" — took place in the assembly hall of Building 11A. For two months, the first-year students and their academic advisors had been actively preparing for the event.

On October 22, a training session titled "The Parental Home: The Power of Acceptance and the Warmth of Gratitude" was held in dormitory No. 16 for students of the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy.

BNTU activists came together for two days at a large‑scale forum to develop a plan for joint projects, enhance personal qualities, and strengthen interaction between all youth structures of the university.

On October 21, the FITR Student Trade Union Committee at BNTU held a Father’s Day initiative in the lobby of Academic Building No. 11. Students and teaching staff could write cards for their dads and send them with keepsake gifts. The initiative offered a heartfelt opportunity to express gratitude and remind loved ones how much they mean to us.

On October 5, students from the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology held an interactive musical event titled "I Sing What I See" at Dormitory No. 16.

In the new season

On September 24, the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics hosted a dialogue session on the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying among young people. Students discussed the causes of aggression, ways to recognize bullying, and what victims and witnesses should do in such situations. Special attention was paid to open communication, mutual support, and seeking help in a timely manner.

The Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy hosted an event for first-year students titled "Flight 109–2026."

BNTU was represented at the event by 17 members of the student trade union and 3 members of the staff trade union.

Students, staff, and creative groups of BNTU – together they created an atmosphere of celebration in which respect for history harmoniously combines with a focus on the future.

The speakers explained why the date of September 17 became a symbol of the unity of the Belarusian people and acquired the status of one of the main state holidays.

The faculty held a ceremonial event dedicated to the meeting of first-year students.
