Today, September 8, a ceremony to present certificates to new members of the volunteer squad was held at the Belarusian National Technical University.
Vitaly Tarlyuk, Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement and Prevention Department of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sovietsky District Administration of Minsk; Irina Gud, Head of the BNTU Center for Ideological Work and Youth Affairs; and Yegor Gilevsky, Commander of the university's volunteer squad, came to support the students at the ceremony.
More than 30 proactive students, who successfully completed their probationary period and demonstrated a positive reputation, have officially joined the university's youth law enforcement movement. They will now assist in maintaining public order on the campuses and dormitories, as well as during city events. Vitaly Tarlyuk addressed the new recruits with a welcoming speech and then personally presented their certificates to the students:
"Dear students, I would like to congratulate you on joining the ranks of the volunteer squad and wish you success in the new academic year. We, as law enforcement officers, appreciate your willingness to spend their time maintaining order both on university campus and throughout the city of Minsk. It is important to always remember that even a small step toward order is already a victory. We wish you success!"
At the event, active squad members who demonstrated a high level of responsibility were also recognized. Before the announcement of the well-deserved awards, Irina Good addressed those present:
"I would like to express my gratitude for the high-quality work you do daily in maintaining public order at our university. It is thanks to you that we can study at the university and live in the dorms in peace—this is truly your achievement."
Following warm words of gratitude from BNTU for their excellent performance in maintaining law and order in Dormitory No. 6, Artem Burachevsky, Nikita Kleshchenko, and Yegor Chernienko were recognized.
Congratulations to these young men on their official induction into the ranks of the BNTU volunteer squad! We wish them honorable service, responsible comrades by their side, and safe vigils for the benefit of their university and city.
