580th anniversary of the great Uzbek poet, thinker, and statesman A. Navoi

В честь 580-летия великого узбекского поэта, мыслителя и государственного деятеля А. Навои

On October 29, a ceremony of laying flowers at the bust of the great poet and thinker Alisher Navoi was held on Sverdlova Street in honor of the 580th anniversary.

The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus with the public association of the Union of Writers of Belarus. Students of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who study at BNTU on joint educational programs, were also present at the ceremony. 


Not long before, the Belarusian-Uzbek Institute (BUMI) held a holiday dedicated to the Day of the Uzbek language, for which the guys were enthusiastically preparing and quoting works and sayings of writers. Therefore, they were happy to take part in the event dedicated to Alisher Navoi.  The children gladly laid flowers and paid homage to the great poet who left a great contribution to the history of the art of the East.
In addition, the guys talked to all the representatives of the event and took joint photos.

On the same day at the Writers' House a creative evening "Literary Bridge of Friendship" was held with the participation of famous Uzbek writers, scholars and public figures and the presentation of Ismat Kuchiev's poem "Five Steps into Eternity. The evening was attended by Director of BUII, Professor I. Gancherenok.
