Master's students from China, majoring in scientific and pedagogical activity at the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy, visited the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, accompanied by Anna Romanova, Head of the Department of Professional Training and Pedagogy.
For reference: The Botanical Garden is the largest collection of unique plants (flowers, trees, and shrubs) from around the world. Each plant species has its own dedicated alley. Ornamental shrubs (rhododendrons and lilacs), bulbous plants (tulips and daffodils), and trees (apple trees, Kobus magnolias, and cherry blossoms) are already in bloom.
The master's students visited the most beautiful corners of the Botanical Garden: the Alley of Victors, the Partisan Meadow, the Ecological and Mythological Trail, and the Lilac Alley. The graduate students' attention was drawn to the blooming rhododendrons—a source of particular pride for the Botanical Garden. Their collection is displayed along several paths. These shrubs can reach considerable heights and widths, and many are decades old. For graduate students studying rhetoric and the style of scientific discourse, the Botanical Garden is an ideal place to practice their public speaking skills. During a tour of the Speaker's Corner on the island, they practiced the art of short speeches dedicated to the results of their master's research.
