The castle was founded in 1323 by the Grand Duke of Lithuania and Russian Gedimin as a stronghold on the road between Novorodok and Vilna on the border of Slavic and Lithuanian tribes.
The future engineers saw the developments of research institutes — from a terahertz spectrometer to technologies for the ISS and the Belarusian NPP — and also learned about the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant and new super-strong materials.
The course was aimed at studying various technical means of customs control, as well as their application in the practical activities of customs authorities and security services.
