BNTU Vice-Rector for Research Ksenia Yakushenko and Dean of the Automotive and Tractor Faculty Sergey Skirkovsky presented the university's experience during the event's business program.

On September 10 and 17 2026, the "Digital Mechanical Engineering" Competence Center at the BNTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering hosted the first classes for students from the Minsk State College of Production Automation. As part of a network-based collaboration, students specializing in "Operation and Setup of Automated Mechanical Engineering Equipment" learned the methodology for verifying the geometric accuracy of CNC lathes and milling machines.

Teams from all universities took part in the traditional parade, where each participant was greeted with endless applause. After that, a symbolic lighting of the competition flame took place.

Preparation for the main event of the autumn at the Instrument-Making Faculty of BNTU began with a real creative brainstorm. The student activist group of the PSF gathered the first-year students for a meeting not just to get acquainted, but also to officially assign the topics for the upcoming "First-Year Student Day – 2026."

Within the framework of the Single Information Day, lecturers E.V. Kondratenok and A.A. Vaseka held curatorial hours for first-year students dedicated to the National Unity Day and the events of September 17, 1939. During the meetings, the students discussed the historical background of the holiday, the repressions in Western Belarus, and watched documentaries about the liberation of the region.

An excursion for participants of the "Step to Innovations" Olympiad was held at the Instrument-Making Faculty, aimed at developing interest in scientific activity and helping with career choice. Schoolchildren, including graduates of engineering classes, got acquainted with the specialties of the instrument-making profile and visited the faculty's laboratories.

On September 8, 2026, as part of the anniversary celebration, an evening was held at the public association 'Belarusian Society of Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries,' which introduced the achievements, nature, and culture of the nomads of this country. Getting to know the Kyrgyz Republic as part of multicultural education is highly important for fostering respect for cultural diversity and promoting interethnic harmony. Among the many guests were also the dean of FMTH, G.M. Brovka, lecturers from the 'Foreign Languages' department, and students of BNTU.

As part of the exhibition, representatives of BNTU were awarded badge “For Merit in Construction”.

The main focus of the discussion was summarizing the educational work of the past year and developing a unified updated strategy for monitoring the academic performance and organizing leisure activities for IPF students in the new academic year.

Students, staff, and creative groups of BNTU – together they created an atmosphere of celebration in which respect for history harmoniously combines with a focus on the future.

The Belarusian National Technical University was represented at the event by staff and students of the Faculty of Mining and Engineering Ecology..

As part of the faculty-wide program, the Institute of Applied Physics held a dialogue platform, "The Dean's Office in Touch: Student Rights and Responsibilities," and a meeting of the "Honest Conversation" project.

The exhibition of Chinese goods and services is being held for the fifth time and is to the Year of Industrial Cooperation between China and Belarus.

On September 2 and 3, FITR held dialogue sessions for freshmen on student rights and responsibilities. The participants discussed BNTU’s internal regulations, benefits, academic leave, retakes and disciplinary liability. Special guest Elena Bulko, a juvenile affairs inspector, also joined the meetings.

The parties discussed the transition from formal agreements to real joint projects, the training of personnel for the real sector of the economy, and the importance of preserving common historical memory.
