International Youth Competition "High Technologies and Innovative Developments"

Международный молодежный конкурс «Высокие технологии и инновационные разработки»

The Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education and the Central Council of Makhtumkuli Youth Organization hold the international competition of scientific works "High technologies and innovative developments".

Competitive research works are accepted in the following priority areas:

  1. Nanotechnology;
  2. Chemical technologies;
  3. Research of new materials;
  4. Energy;
  5. Biotechnology;
  6. Molecular biology;
  7. Agriculture;
  8. Ecology;
  9. Genetics.

The competition will be held from March 1 to October 10, 2023 in two rounds in the areas specified in the Contest Regulations.

Participants register in accordance with Annex 1 of these Regulations.

The text of the competition papers is prepared in accordance with Annex 2 of these Regulations and is sent to the Organizers' e-mail address scientificwork.tm@gmail.com.

Participants must attach the following to the research work for consideration by the Organizers:

  1. Copies of documents with information about evaluation of work results (scientific articles, inventions, industrial designs, patents, diplomas, etc.);
  2. At least 3 (three) positive reviews of scientists on the research work.

Participants admitted to the second round of the international competition, prepare a text and a Power Point presentation for the presentation in online format.

When preparing the text of the presentation it is necessary to take into account:

- relevance of the topic;

- disclosure of the topic;

- provision of relevant and analytical data;

- observance of the time limit of the speech (5-10 minutes).

When preparing a Power Point presentation, consider the following:

  1. The number of slides of the presentation should be at least 10;
  2. There should be a title page with information about the research work and its author in Turkmen, Russian and English languages in accordance with Annex 3 of these Regulations;
  3. The information should be presented in the thesis form;
  4. Analytical data in the form of charts and graphs must be present;
  5. The presentation may include audiovisual presentation and a short video clip.

When evaluating the research papers the following are taken into account:

- The depth of the theoretical research conducted;

- the amount of experimental results obtained;

- scientific and practical importance of the work;

- the validity of the results;

- the volume of the participant's author's works;

- the level of familiarity of the participant with the results of modern scientific research on the chosen topic;

- preparation and description by the participant of the research work.

Contest work should have 1 author.

Scientific works are accepted from March 1 till May 1 of this year.

The aim of the competition is to provide wide application of new scientific and engineering thoughts, industrial-innovative and information-technological developments of young scientists.
