These days, all parts of Uzbekistan are celebrating the 539th anniversary of the great statesman, poet and writer Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. The personality of Babur is unique, multifaceted and has attracted the interest of scholars at all times. His monumental works still attract scholars, and his books have been translated and published in many languages around the world.
On February 14, 2022 in the joint Belarusian-Uzbek Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in Tashkent was held a creative meeting dedicated to the birthday of this great statesman, poet and writer.
The national actor of Uzbekistan, the actor of the National Academic Drama Theatre of Uzbekistan, the winner of the international award named after Babur Muhammadali Abdurakhmanov was invited to this creative meeting. Mukhammadali Abdukunduzov.
The event noted that the noble ideas lauded in the works of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur served as a basis to introduce them to the youth, to educate the younger generation in the spirit of high respect for the heritage of the great ancestors.
Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur was born on February 14, 1483 in Andijan. Since his childhood, he was in love with literature, art and the beauty of nature. He is one of the outstanding personalities, who had great influence on civilization of the East. He based his rule on the will of the people and acted in their interests. Culture, spirituality, creation was the priority for Babur; he regarded the development of science as the most important task of the state. Along with state affairs Babur had also been successfully involved in science and art.
Among his famous works are ghazals and rubai, treatises on Islamic jurisprudence - "Mubaiyin", music, military affairs.
The centrepiece of Babur's work is Baburname, a priceless literary monument of prose in the Uzbek language. This book is largely autobiographical and reflects the history of Central Asian, Afghan and Indian peoples in the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries.
