On June 26, negotiations with the delegation of the Don State Technical University took place at the Belarusian National Technical University.
The delegation included Alexey Beskopylny, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Affairs, and Natalia Beskopylnaya, Associate Professor. On the Belarusian side, the meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaichik, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Nikolai Vishnyakov, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Construction Dmitry Livansky and Head of the Department of Transport Systems and Technologies Alexey Lobashov.
First, Yuri Nikolaichik addressed the representatives of the delegation. He spoke in detail about the activities of BNTU and how the university trains highly qualified specialists.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two leading technical universities. Special attention was paid to the prospects of academic exchange of students and teachers, as well as the organization of joint scientific research. The meeting participants also considered the possibility of launching joint educational programs, including dual degree programs, and discussed issues of holding joint scientific and practical conferences and internships for young scientists.
At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement between the Belarusian National Technical University and the Don State Technical University.
Following the talks, the parties expressed their readiness to further deepen partnership relations and outlined concrete steps to implement the agreements reached.
