The annual Republican Student Olympiad in Mathematics was held on May 16 at Belarusian State University. In Group B, for technical universities, 72 students from 13 universities of the country took part. The Olympiad was held in one round, during which participants had five hours to solve written problems from a range of mathematical disciplines.
The BNTU team included six students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Energy Engineering, and the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics.
The students represented the university with distinction under the guidance of Anna Brichikova, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Higher Mathematics.
According to the results of the Olympiad:
A 2nd-degree diploma was awarded to Viktoria Udovenko, student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering;
A 2nd-degree diploma was awarded to Vladislav Zmitrovich, student of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics;
A 3rd-degree diploma was awarded to Nikolai Ivanov, student of the Faculty of Energy Engineering;
A 3rd-degree diploma was awarded to Ivan Krasovsky, student of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics;
A 3rd-degree diploma was awarded to Alexey Dranevich, student of the Faculty of Energy Engineering;
A 3rd-degree diploma was awarded to Maria Yurets, student of the Faculty of Energy Engineering.
