Faculty of Automotive Engineering

Faculty of Mining and Engineering Ecology
The Faculty of Mining and Engineering Ecology (FMEE) trains specialists who work at the intersection of modern geotechnologies and rational nature management – they are engaged in the extraction and processing of minerals, the design of mining equipment, as well as issues of environmental safety and industrial management. The demand for such graduates is consistently high.
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FMME) trains specialists in the field of technologies and equipment, automation of production processes and intelligent machines. Graduates are able to work on modern equipment, manage production processes, and implement digital solutions in enterprises.
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology
Today, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology (FMT) is a territory of innovation and high technologies. The automation of modern production is confidently replacing manual labor with analytics, IT solutions, and computer modeling. This is why more and more girls are entering the faculty every year, successfully mastering complex engineering professions. The faculty trains specialists in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, and materials science. Here, students don't just learn theory; they master 3D printing of casting molds, computer modeling of physical processes, and the creation of composite materials. The main areas of study include foundry technology, metallurgical production and processing, materials science, and pressure processing technologies.
Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship
The Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship (FMME) is the only economic faculty in the Republic of Belarus, where students study economics, management, marketing, and foreign languages, as well as the basics of engineering and engineering graphics. The combination of economic, engineering, and language training ensures that graduates are in high demand in the market for certified specialists.
The Faculty of Energy
The Faculty of Energy (FE) is one of the oldest faculties at the university, with a wealth of experience in training engineering and academic staff in the field of electrical and thermal energy. At the Engineering and Pedagogical Faculty (IPF), you can become not just a teacher, but a specialist who has a deep understanding of technical disciplines and is able to transfer this knowledge to future workers, foremen, engineers, perform work and calculations, and lead a team. During their studies, students receive a comprehensive theoretical education, the content of which depends on their chosen field.
Faculty of Energy Construction
Today, the Faculty of Energy Construction (FEC) has over a thousand full-time and part-time students. The faculty combines specialties and profiles related to the construction and operation of energy facilities, water management, and the use of natural resources. Training is conducted in four specialties and six profiles covering key areas such as hydropower and hydraulic engineering, water transport and shipbuilding, heat and gas supply and ventilation, water supply and sanitation, construction of thermal and nuclear energy facilities, and engineering economics.
Architectural Faculty
Architecture is not just about building buildings, but about creating a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and functional living environment. The modern market dictates new rules: the industry requires specialists who can think big, synthesize bold creative concepts with advanced construction technologies. For over half a century, the Architectural Faculty (AF) of the Belarusian National Technical University has been successfully training such professionals.
Faculty of Construction
Construction is one of the main sectors of the national economy in the Republic of Belarus, and it plays an important role in the country's socio-economic development. The main role of the construction industry is to create conditions for the dynamic development of the country's economy. The Belarusian National Technical University and the Faculty of Construction (FC) in particular occupy a special place in the field of training personnel for the construction industry in Belarus.
The Faculty of Instrument Engineering
Today, the Faculty of Instrument Engineering (FIE) has approximately 1,400 students, including about 900 full-time students and almost 500 part-time students. However, the main asset of the FIE is its faculty. 90 highly qualified teachers pass on their experience to students. Among them are 19 doctors of science and professors, including two academicians and a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and 46 candidates of science and associate professors. Such a staffing potential allows the faculty to confidently maintain its leadership in training the country's engineering elite.
Faculty of Transport Communications
The Faculty of Transport Communications (FTK) is the only faculty in the Republic of Belarus that trains specialists for the entire road construction industry. This is one of the oldest faculties of the BNTU, which does not stand still and produces specialists who are in high demand in the transport, construction, and mechanical engineering industries. There is no road industry organization in the country where graduates of the Faculty of Technical Engineering do not work, and in some organizations, they make up more than half of the staff.
Military Engineering Faculty
Military engineering is a special field where the highest level of technical training is inextricably linked to a strong character, responsibility, and dedication. The modern army requires highly qualified specialists capable of managing the most complex technical complexes, erecting strategic facilities and competently building financial logistics. Such professionals are trained by the Military Technical Faculty (VTF) of the Belarusian National Technical University.
Sports and Technical Faculty
The Faculty of Sports and Technology (STF) is the youngest faculty of BNTU and the first engineering faculty in universities in the CIS countries, which trains engineering specialists for the sports industry. Thanks to the faculty, the domestic physical culture and sports industry receives qualified specialists who are able to participate in research, production, technical, organizational, and managerial activities at enterprises and organizations of the industrial and physical culture and sports complexes, specializing in the production and maintenance of sports simulators, refereeing and information systems, equipment, instruments, and special-purpose equipment.
