From March 31 to May 13, the exhibition "Women Scientists and the National Library of Belarus" was held at the National Library of Belarus. The exhibition is timed to the Year of the Belarusian Woman and the anniversary of the opening of the new building of the National Library – one of the most recognizable symbols of modern Belarus.
The exhibition reflected the contribution of Belarusian women to the development of national and global science. The exhibits included research papers, materials from scientific conferences, including joint Belarusian-Chinese projects, as well as publications that promoted the history of the women's scientific movement. Among the participants in the exhibition was Raisa Dozhdikova, an associate professor at the Department of Philosophical Studies at the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarian Studies at BNTU.
The exhibition featured three of the associate professor's books, two of which were based on her doctoral dissertation. For Raisa Nurievna, this was the result of many years of work with students, research of primary sources, and a desire to make philosophy alive and understandable. At the exhibition, her works took their rightful place among the publications of the country's leading scholars.
As Raisa Dozhdikova noted, participating in the exhibition is just the tip of the iceberg of her achievements, as the real impact lies in the classrooms where genuine interest in thought is fostered.
Students who attend her lectures have praised her unique teaching style. Raisa Nurievna doesn't just present the material; she encourages students to think. Classes on the anthology "The World of Philosophy" and studying primary sources turn into a fascinating process of discovering new meanings.
"Under my guidance, student Vladislav Fedorov won first place in the International Essay Competition dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Three students also participated in the Seminar of University Students in Zhirovichi, one of the spiritual and intellectual centers of Belarus, under my guidance. The students not only presented their reports but also published them. This means that young voices have been integrated into the field of science," said Raisa Nurievna.
For students who are still in doubt about whether to delve into primary sources or participate in competitions, Raisa Nurievna's example serves as a reminder: "Don't be afraid to think. Your ideas are the future of our science and our memory."
