On April 29, BNTU, together with the Republican Unitary Production Enterprise "Granit" held a major career guidance event in the Brest and Gomel regions. The event focused on schools and gymnasiums in Luninets and the Luninets district, and Zhitkovichi and the Zhitkovichi district, including engineering classes. Over 300 students had the opportunity to discuss admission to BNTU and future employment with Eduard Gavrilkovich, General Director of the Republican Unitary Production Enterprise "Granit" and member of the Standing Committee on Economy, Budget, and Finance of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; Andrei Kologrivko, Dean of the Mining and Environmental Engineering Department; Yulia Mazanik, Dean of the Information Technology and Robotics Department; Sergei Kovshar, Dean of the Civil Engineering Department; Viktor Melnichenko, Associate Professor of the Mechanical Engineering and Technology Department; Igor Serebryakov, Associate Professor of the Automobile and Tractor Department; and BNTU faculty and students. The event was attended by Alexander Savina, Chairman of the Luninets District Executive Committee.
For reference: The Republican Unitary Production Enterprise "Granit" (RUPE "Granit") is the largest enterprise in Europe specializing in the extraction and processing of dense rocks. The enterprise's products are used as aggregate for monolithic concrete, precast concrete and reinforced concrete structures, road surface treatments, airfield pavements and parking lots, for civil and road construction, hydraulic engineering, railway ballast, landscaping, the production of landscaping elements, dam reinforcement, and other construction projects. The raw material for processing is rock from the Mikashevichi deposit. Currently, the Mikashevichi quarry is the largest open-pit mine in Central Europe. The quarry stretches 2,760 meters from west to east and 1,770 meters from north to south and consists of four overburden benches and 11 mining benches. The quarry's depth is 150 meters, 20 meters below the Baltic Sea.

Schoolchildren actively participated in discussions that addressed both admissions and targeted training.
BNTU representatives were able to learn about the current situation at the facility and discuss the participation of the Republican Unitary Production Enterprise "Granit" in joint student training for the company's needs and the provision of logistical support for the educational process.
