The event was opened by Vasily Sergeyevich Kolesnikov, Deputy Dean for Educational Work. He warmly congratulated the students on their admission to BNTU and their choice of a wonderful faculty, wishing them not to be afraid to experiment and to boldly express themselves. The first-year students were also introduced to the entire student activist group of the PSF.
After the introductions, the main moment of the day arrived – the distribution of topics.
The theme of "First-Year Student Day – 2026" is "What Happened Next."
The concept of this year turned out to be unusual. Each group drew "balls" with two components: the name of a cult TV series (from which only the characters' names and their personalities should be taken) and a unique plot twist that must be developed.

The meeting ended on a positive note, and we are already eagerly awaiting the moment when the crazy ideas of the students and their mentors turn into a grand show.
"First-Year Student Day" promises to be unforgettable! Meanwhile, the faculty is already hard at work on scripts, decorations, and costumes.
