Yesterday, September 22, a delegation from the People's Republic of China paid an official visit to the Military-Technical Faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU). The foreign guests visited the faculty’s academic building to familiarize themselves with the educational process and the material-technical infrastructure.
The Chinese delegation included representatives from the Beijing National Defense Mobilization Office, such as Lin Yu (Head of the Personnel Division and Second-Rank Inspector), Lu Yang (Head of the Planning and Development Division), Wang Zhibo (Head of the Dongcheng District National Defense Mobilization Office), and Zhao Lihua (Head of the Haidian District National Defense Mobilization Office).
Representing BNTU at the meeting were department heads and Colonel Igor Yankovsky, First Deputy Head of the Military-Technical Faculty.
During the meeting, Igor Yankovsky provided the guests with a detailed overview of the features and advantages of studying at the faculty. He presented the specializations available for career officers, reserve officers, and junior commanders. Following the presentation, members of the delegation asked questions. They were particularly interested in the training system for specialists from foreign countries within the "Military Engineering Equipment" and "Armored Weapons and Equipment" departments. The parties also discussed the study of civil defense disciplines by cadets.
The meeting marked an important step in the exchange of experience regarding military personnel training. BNTU consistently supports international dialogue and welcomes foreign partners.
