The student scientific and technical conference "Engineering Ecology" was held at the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Economics

Студенческая научно-техническая конференция «Инженерная экология» состоялась на ФГДИЭ

On April 28-29, the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering at our university hosted a student scientific and technical conference "Ecology Engineering" as part of the 2nd International Youth Forum "Creativity and Innovation 2026".

As per tradition, students from the National Children's Technopark participated in the conference in the first section of the competition, presenting their research reports and presentations. Master's and doctoral students also presented in the second section.

On the second day of the conference, students from various faculties at our university presented their work to the jury.

This annual conference attracts hundreds of students from various cities across Belarus and the Russian Federation who are proactive and passionate about studying environmental and technical disciplines. It focuses on addressing pressing local and global issues in the field of environmental engineering and environmental awareness.

Participation in the conference was diverse, as the participants' presentations addressed current issues in both theoretical and practical contexts. The speakers delivered with inspired communication skills and a high level of preparation, and the committee members actively participated in the discussions, asking questions and often engaging in debate with the presenter.

Among the participants of the National Children's Technopark, first-place diplomas were awarded to Zakhar Suleshko, Varvara Svislenok, and Yulia Seregova for their jointly submitted work.

  • First-place diplomas in the Master's degree category were awarded to Anna Kukharik and Maria Bulynko.

First-place diplomas were also awarded to Victoria Shakal (Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages), Darya Turkhan (BNTU, Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering), and Yaroslav Starostenkov (BNTU, Faculty of Energy).

The conference results and the awarding of prizes confirmed the park's status as an important platform for knowledge exchange and the development of joint projects. The results of the discussions will be published in a collection of scientific articles and used to improve theoretical and practical experience in the environmental sector.
