On March 13, 2026, a career guidance meeting for high school students was held at Minsk Gymnasium No. 4. The meeting was organized to inform potential applicants about the opportunities for admission and study at the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU).
Yulia Zhavrid, a fourth-year student in the graduating class of group 10305222 from the Technological Equipment Department of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, presented a report to the students. In her presentation, she provided detailed information about the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on the activities of the Technological Equipment Department.
Yulia explained the structure of the department to the students, which offers two specializations in training specialists:
During the discussion, special emphasis was placed on the demand for these specializations in the Belarusian labor market. Graduates of the department possess the competencies that allow them to work at the country's leading industrial enterprises, working on both production processes and high-tech design developments.
The meeting was held in an open dialogue format: students expressed interest, asking questions about the rich curriculum, opportunities for participation in research clubs, and admissions policies. Having senior students conduct career guidance discussions allows prospective students to gain an objective understanding of student life and their chosen major firsthand. Following the event, interested students were provided with information materials and contact information for the BNTU Admissions Committee for more detailed consultations.
