On the 22nd, the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics at the Belarusian National Technical University hosted preventive interactive lecture-presentation titled "Don't Like Trouble." The event was aimed at improving the legal literacy of students and fostering responsible behavior on the internet.
During the event, participants examined the types of liability for unlawful actions in the digital environment, learned how to recognize destructive channels, groups, and communities, and found out how to identify signs of dangerous content. Special attention was paid to the information verification algorithm—students were introduced to a step-by-step data verification mechanism that helps distinguish reliable sources from questionable ones. In addition, using a specific example, the "Dangerous Repost" scenario was thoroughly analyzed, clearly demonstrating the potential consequences of reckless actions on social networks.

The final part of the meeting focused on the protocol for dealing with suspicious content and the rules for verifying questionable information. The organizers reminded students that in the digital sphere, it is vital to remember: before liking, reposting, or clicking a link, one should stop and verify the information.
For future IT specialists who will shape the country's digital space tomorrow, mastering the basics of safe online behavior is not just a useful skill, but an essential component of their professional culture.
