On February 14, 2026, the Vileika City House of Culture became an open discussion platform for prospective students. The Belarusian National Technical University participated in a large-scale career guidance event, bringing together students in grades 9–11 from schools in Vileika and the Vileika district.

Choosing a career is one of the most important stages in a young person's life. Representatives of the country's leading technical university – Petr Samokhval, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sports Engineering, and Mikhail Kuzemko, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Professional Training and Pedagogy – were on hand to help the students make this informed choice.

During the meeting, the students learned about BNTU's educational opportunities, the admissions process, training programs, and graduate employment prospects. Of particular interest were engineering majors, which combine modern technologies, practice-oriented learning, and demand in the labor market.

The dialogue took the form of lively interaction: students asked questions about student life, research opportunities, and international collaboration. University representatives emphasized that BNTU offers not only high-quality education but also a launchpad for professional growth and self-fulfillment.

Such off-site events allow the university to strengthen ties with the regions and foster a lasting interest in technical education among prospective students.
