From December 9 to December 15, Pavel Kholod, lecturer of the Department of "Robotic Systems", students Alina Saгuchyk and Yahor Siamizhon of Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) participate in an educational program at the University of Marwadi (Rajkot, India). The training takes place on the topic "The use of computer-aided design and development of technological processes to optimize the time and financial costs of preparing for production".
The acquaintance with the university began with a sightseeing tour of the main structural units related to the internship area: Mechanical Engineering Department and Department of Information and Communication Technology. Also the meeting with the heads of structural units and the vice-rector of the university was organized.
The first impressions of the university are the most wonderful. Both the picturesque campus and the very hospitable attitude of the staff of Marwadi University, which they provide to us, are impressive. The University has a wide range of equipment for engineer training. Teachers actively share their knowledge with us, introduce us to their teaching materials. There are features in the system of engineering personnel training, some of which can be considered as innovations to improve education at BNTU.
The educational program will contribute to improving the quality of the disciplines taught by the teacher, replenishing the methodological base, obtaining new knowledge by students, which will later be applied in the implementation of course and diploma projects, attracting Indian students and undergraduates to participate in programs organized by BNTU, introducing positive international experience into the educational process.
