The Republican Armwrestling Universiade was held on October 19-21, 2022 in Gorki. In total, 227 students (157 men and 72 women) from 27 teams of higher education institutions took part in the competition.
The team consists of 10 people, regardless of gender. The BNTU team included 5 students and 5 female students. Competitions are held separately for the right and left hands.
According to the results of the competition, the BNTU team in arm wrestling took second place in the overall team standings and first place in the women's standings.
Team championship on the podium:
first place - Belarusian-Russian University (540 points)
second place - Belarusian National Technical University (470 points)
third place - Belarusian State Technological University (467 points)
The BNTU team was represented by: Timofey Dunetsky (correspondence ATP) - Master of Sports, Alexei Lyubko (FITR), Ksenia Shevchenko (FES) - candidate master of sports, Alexandra Masalskaya (correspondence PSF) - candidate master of sports, Abror Suyarov (FTK) - candidate in the master of sports, Maxim Gusev (FGDE), Tatyana Tarnapovich (MSF), Alexander Dydyshko (MSF), Chernyuk Victoria (ATF), Anastasia Andrukh (IPF) - candidate master of sports.
Coach: Lipnitsky Vadim Eduardovich - Master of Sports in arm wrestling, senior lecturer at the Department of Sports.
Based on the results of two days of competition, BNTU students won the following prizes:
Timofey Dunetsky (ATF) became the Universiade Absolute Champion, he won both left and right hand competitions.
Anastasia Andrukh (IPF) - Absolute champion of the Universiade. First place on the left hand and first place on the right hand. She was also awarded a special prize from the Belarusian Association of University Sports "For the will to win".
Ksenia Shevchenko (FES) - Absolute champion of the Universiade. First place on the left hand and first place on the right hand.
Alexandra Masalskaya (PSF) - silver medalist of the Universiade (2nd place right hand, 3rd place left hand). Sasha performed in the 60 kg weight category, which was more for herself, despite the fact that her own weight was 55 kg.
Abror Suyarov (FTK) - bronze medalist for the right and left hand.
At these competitions, five athletes completed the standard of a candidate for master of sports: Andrukh Anastasia, Shevchenko Ksenia, Masalskaya Alexandra and Suyarov Abror. The rest of the athletes took worthy places and thus made a significant contribution to the overall result.
