Vacancies
The Automobile and Tractor Faculty is a leading center for training personnel for the automobile and tractor industries not only in Belarus but throughout the post-Soviet space. In addition to the traditional programs, which are traditionally in high demand, there are still three programs available:
"Automobiles, Tractors, Mobile and Technological Complexes"—a foundational program for future designers and engineers specializing in the operation of wheeled vehicles;
"Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems of Mobile and Technological Machines and Equipment"—a unique program that trains specialists in complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems operating under high loads and aggressive environments;
"Power Plants." "Piston Internal Combustion Engines" is for those who want to understand internal combustion engines, turbines, and hybrid units that shape the future of transport engineering.
The Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering is one of the key centers for training engineers for the country's mineral resources and fuel and energy sectors. Admissions are currently open for two in-demand specializations. "Machines and Equipment for Mining Production. Mining Electromechanics" is for those who want to become specialists in the design, operation, and repair of mining machinery and mechanisms used in beneficiation and processing industries. The second specialization, "Mineral Deposit Development. Open-Pit Mining," trains mining engineers capable of comprehensively managing open-pit mining operations at mining companies. Students study modern methods and technologies, mastering mine surveying and geodetic measurements and calculations using the latest equipment.
The Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics trains IT specialists with a strong engineering background, capable of integrating digital solutions with real-world production. The Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics also offers two other specializations. "Information Systems and Technologies. Information Systems and Technologies in Design and Production" is a classic for those who want to develop databases, ERP systems, and digital twins of enterprises. "Automation of Technological Processes and Production" is a program where engineers create control systems for machine tools and entire factories, integrating elements of artificial intelligence and the Industrial Internet of Things.
The Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarian Studies traditionally attracts applicants with a wide range of engineering and management specialties. The Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarian Studies has vacancies in three specialties:
"Equipment and Technologies for Packaging Production, Trade, and Display and Advertising Facilities. Packaging Production" is a unique program for Belarus, combining engineering knowledge with modern market trends in logistics, trade, and packaging design;
"Equipment and Technologies for Vacuum, Compressor, and Low-Temperature Equipment. Low-Temperature Equipment" provides students with a high-quality engineering foundation for working with refrigeration, vacuum, and compressor equipment, which is widely used in the food, medical, and chemical industries;
"Heat Power Engineering and Heat Engineering." The "Energy-Efficient Technologies and Energy Management" program trains specialists in the implementation of energy-saving solutions, which is currently one of the key areas of development for the Belarusian economy.
The Faculty of Power Engineering traditionally trains specialists for the construction and operation of energy, water management, and hydraulic structures, remaining a key focus in training personnel for the country's infrastructure sectors. Currently, the faculty has vacancies in the "Water Transport" program. Automated Vessels is a modern program where engineers master the design, construction, and operation of vessels with integrated digital control, navigation, and communication systems.
The Faculty of Instrument Engineering is renowned for its fundamental training in the exact sciences and high-tech instrumentation. The faculty offers training in a number of prestigious programs, two of which still have vacancies. "Information and Measuring Instruments and Systems" is a program for those who want to develop complex control, diagnostic, and measurement systems used in aviation, energy, and industrial facilities. "Microsensor Systems Technologies" is a program at the intersection of microelectronics, materials science, and nanotechnology. Graduates create miniature sensors for robotics, automotive electronics, and smart manufacturing. Both programs offer broad career prospects in high-tech industries.
The Faculty of Transport Communications is a leading center for training personnel for road construction and material handling engineering. Currently, the Faculty of Transport Communications still offers the opportunity to be enrolled in the program "Road Construction and Material Handling Machinery and Equipment. Material Handling Machines, Elevators, and Continuous Transport Machines." This program provides engineering knowledge in the operation of heavy equipment—excavators, cranes, bulldozers, and loaders—as well as design and repair skills. Graduates of the faculty work at construction sites, transport companies, and specialty equipment manufacturers.

For many of our applicants, studying at the country's leading technical university isn't just a spontaneous choice, but a true childhood dream and a continuation of a family tradition. Alexey brought this very story to the admissions committee.
The applicant chose the Faculty of Technical Communications and plans to pursue a career in geodesy and engineering geodesy:
"I chose the Faculty of Transport Communications, specifically engineering geodesy, because it's a highly sought-after profession right now. BNTU itself attracted me with its prestige. I learned about this university as a child, and a dream emerged, and I firmly decided: once I finish 11th grade, I'll definitely enroll here." Honestly, I'm still nervous. But my parents are a great help in managing the stress. They provide the necessary motivation and constant support. My main goal for my first year is to establish myself as a top performer among my professors and classmates. I want to take my studies seriously and absolutely not let them slide.
His father, Andrey Martsuta, echoes his son's words. He explained why he supported Alexey's choice and how parental example helps him choose his future profession:
"Of course, I played a role in my son's choice. I've been working in the industry for over 26 years, rising from a road worker to a manager. I believe the Faculty of Transport Communications trains specialists who will always be in demand in our country. Roads have always been, are, and always will be." I studied part-time at another university, but honestly, I always wanted to be a student at BNTU. That's just how life turned out, and now my son is fulfilling that dream. There's no need to worry about admissions. Young people are very advanced these days; you just need to trust them more. Indeed, there are times when they need a little guidance. We offered, and Alexey happily agreed. My son sees what my mother and I do (we're both managers); he grew up with us; you could say he lives with us at work." Therefore, this is an absolutely correct and informed choice. I advise all applicants to pay special attention to road transport specialties: this is the future!
Ulyana submitted her documents for the specialty "Transport Logistics. Transport and Logistics Systems and Supply Chain Management." Not only did she pass her exams with flying colors, earning a perfect score in Russian without the help of a tutor, but she also decided to radically change her interests from creative work to the technical field:
"The exam actually seemed pretty easy to me: we'd been solving much more challenging problems in class, so I completed all the work confidently. When it came time to choose a university, I looked at several options, but my heart was set on BNTU. Friends had also told me a lot about it and encouraged me to apply. I chose my major based on their recommendations. I've been involved in creative arts and dancing my whole life, but then I decided I wanted to try my hand at a technical field. I think it would be really interesting! I know BNTU offers many opportunities for self-fulfillment, so I plan to continue my creative work and actively participate in student life. My main goal for my first year is to prove myself."
Maxim firmly decided to pursue a career in IT and applied for the Information Systems and Technologies major. Information Systems and Technologies in Design and Production:
"I prioritized BNTU because I have friends studying there, and my family members also encouraged me to apply. They say the teaching here is very good." I chose this major because I really enjoy working with computers and automation. I plan to continue working and developing in this field in the future. I'm absolutely confident in my grades, and my family helps me cope with any worries—they believe in me! My main goal for my first year is to do well for my professors and integrate into student life. I plan to join the sports team because I've long been involved in sports and would like to continue that. And, of course, I'd love to participate in the university's cultural life.
