Department : Military automotive equipment

In the course of reforming the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus  by the Decrees of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 11, 2003 No. 775 “On military faculties in educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus” and the Ministry of Education “On military faculties of educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus” of August 7, 2003, the automobile cycle the military department was  reorganized into the department "Military automotive equipment" of the military-technical faculty at the Belarusian National Technical University.

The main activities of the department are:

• - training of cadets according to the officer training program;
• - training of university students under the training programs for reserve officers and junior commanders;
• - conducting scientific research;
• - development of educational and methodological documentation;
• - creation and improvement of the educational and material base;
• - assistance to military units.
