"BNTU students - veterans": representatives of BNTU presented a holiday to residents of the boarding house "Istok"

«Студенчество БНТУ – ветеранам»: представители Политеха подарили праздник жителям пансионата «Исток»

Today, May 14, a charity event, "BNTU Students for Veterans," was held at the Istok boarding house in the agro-town of Zhdanovichi, Minsk, dedicated to Victory Day celebrations. BNTU students and staff prepared a concert program and sweet treats for the boarding house residents. The activists offered attention and care to those whose youth was scorched by war.

The concert opened with the host, Daniil Radyuk, a student from the Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship. He congratulated the audience on Victory Day on behalf of the thousands of BNTU staff.

The concert program included both lyrical and upbeat numbers. Military-Technical Faculty cadet Roman Sedov performed his original song "Victory March" and the composition "From Here."

Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship Faculty student Anastasia Sinyavskaya sang "Cranes" and "The Month of May." Cadets from the Military-Technical Faculty continued to delight the veterans: Nikita Yanovich performed "Eh, Dorogi" and "Dva Orla," and Daniil Moroz performed "A Reka Tekhet."

Full highlights included performances by Vadim Pavlyukovich, a student from the Faculty of Power Engineering, with the compositions "First Things First – Airplanes" and "Smuglyanka," and by Victoria Makovskaya, a student from the Faculty of Instrument Engineering, with "Sosed" and "Mother Earth."

The visit concluded with a joint performance of "Den Pobedy" (Victory Day) and a tea party.

The warm welcome at the Istok boarding house once again proved that the memory of this heroic act lives on, the connection between generations is unbroken, and young people know how to be grateful.
