The Department of Tactics and General Military Training is the leading scientific and pedagogical unit of the Military Technical Faculty: it trains career officers in all specialties. The department is considered one of the best in the military-technical faculty in terms of the state of the material and technical base, equipment with modern teaching technologies, and the introduction of computer technologies into the educational process.

The educational process uses modern weapons and special equipment, instruments and equipment, specialized classrooms and laboratories, computer classes equipped with modern PCs, a variety of technical teaching aids, electronic training and testing programs in all disciplines, and a technical library. There is also a rich scientific potential and a modern teaching and laboratory base of the university.

In addition, the department trains career officers in the specialty “Construction of buildings and structures”, within the framework of the specialization “Industrial and military construction”, qualification: civil engineer. The training of military specialists takes place in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

In the department “Organization of financial activities of troops” specialists are trained for the financial bodies of the Armed Forces and other military formations of the Republic of Belarus. The content of the training is characterized by a high practice orientation, the use of specialized software technologies, and a saturation of practical exercises and practices in the troops.

Duration of study: 4 years

The scope of activity is financial support for events held in the military unit.

Military professional tasks:

• financial planning management;
• ensuring efficient use of financial resources;
• organizing and conducting settlements with personnel;
• monitoring and economic analysis of financial performance results;
• maintaining financial records and reporting;
• development of proposals to optimize financial support.

Job purpose:

• head of the financial service of a separate battalion or base;

The training of cadets is carried out by the Department of Military Engineering Training.

The department trains personnel officers in the specialty “Operation of ground transport and technological machines and complexes”, within the framework of the profile “Road construction machines and special-purpose equipment”, qualification: engineer. Cadets receive up-to-date knowledge in the following areas of activity: personnel management of engineering units, organization of engineering support tasks, operation of engineering weapons, personnel training. The material and technical base allows us to organize the training of specialists at a high-quality, modern level.

In addition to the theoretical and practical training of cadets at the department, training is improved through practices and internships.

The educational process uses modern engineering weapons, instruments and equipment, specialized classrooms and laboratories, computer classes equipped with modern PCs, a variety of technical teaching aids, electronic training and testing programs, electronic simulators in all disciplines.

The Department of Armored Weapons and Equipment trains specialists for military service in tank and mechanized military units and subunits. Disciplines are taught using the latest technologies. All disciplines are provided with the necessary literature and electronic methodological complexes.

organization of operation and repair of armored weapons and equipment.
