The winners of the "A Moment in My Life" competition were awarded at BNTU

Today, on June 11, the BNTU hosted the grand opening of a new exhibition of the best works submitted to the annual photo contest "A Moment of My Life" - 2026, as well as the awarding of the contest winners. 

 This year, 74 students and employees of the BNTU who are passionate about photography participated in the contest. A total of 349 photographs were submitted to the jury in six categories: "Landscape," "Portrait," "Angle," "Series," "Urban Environment and Architecture," and "Woman - the Soul of the Country."

Timur Matyushinets, Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work, delivered a welcoming speech. 

 "I am very pleased to be here and participate in the opening of the updated exhibition. Indeed, the fourth floor has been transformed. This year, we can see that the level of our work has improved. I would like to express my gratitude to the students of the Federal Migration Service for their active participation. I hope that the strongest will win, as all the works are outstanding and deserve attention. 

 Based on the jury members' decisions, the awards were distributed as follows: 

In the "Landscape" category:​
the 1st place diploma goes to Victoria Seletitskaya, a master's student at the Art Faculty;
the 2nd place diploma goes to Victoria Nazarova, a student at the Faculty of Power Engineering;
the 3rd place diploma goes to Mikail Bakyshmaz, a student at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

 In the "Portrait" category:
the 1st place diploma goes to Anna Nikonovich, a specialist at the Center for Ideological Work and Youth Affairs;
the 2nd place diploma goes to Valeria Rakovich, a student at the Institute of Fine Arts; 
Diploma for 3rd place – VTF cadet Maksim Chumakov.

 In the nomination “Urban environment and architecture”
Diploma for 1st place – FMS student Zyubeyir Abay;
Diploma for 2nd place – PSF student Elizaveta Khulup;
Diploma for 3rd place – Head of the Department of Marketing and Project Activities of the Scientific Library of BNTU Elizaveta Kanashevich;
Diploma for 3rd place – FTAG student Anastasia Kunkevich.

In the "Rakurs" nomination:
Diploma for 1st place - Assistant Director General of the NTP BNTU "Polytechnic" Marina Tsives;
Diploma for 2nd place - student of the MSF Timofey Kuneiko;
Diploma for 2nd place - methodologist of the Intersectoral Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel Maria Shpilevskaya;
Diploma for 3rd place - student of the FMS Mapenzi Kitalano Beni.

In the nomination "Woman - the Soul of the Country":
diploma for 1st place - student PSF Elizaveta Khulup;
diploma for 2nd place - cadet VTF Timofey Slabodnik;
diploma for 3rd place - student AF Daria Yurkevich;
diploma for 3rd place - student FMMP Alina Belaya.

In the nomination "Series":
diploma for 1st place - student FITR Egor Sychevich;
Diploma for 2nd place — VTF cadet Maxim Chumakov;
Diploma for 2nd place — FES student Victoria Nazarova;
Diploma for 3rd place — FMS student Li Yongping, Chongqing. The participants and winners of the competition noted the high level of the event and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to show their work to the entire university.

 — Thank you very much to BNTU for the opportunity to participate in the competition and prove yourself as a photographer. This competition and my victory in it gave me the motivation to develop further in this field. The competition united different people's views with a common goal — to decorate BNTU with such a beautiful and diverse exhibition, — said Yegor Sychevich. 

Congratulations to the winners of the competition! Anyone can visit the exhibition, as the best works are presented in the hall of the 4th floor of the main building.
