The 28th International Architecture and Construction Exhibition "Budexpo 2026" took place from September 16 to 18, 2026, at the BelExpo National Exhibition Center in Minsk.
This key industry event in the Republic of Belarus traditionally brings together leading specialists, developers, designers, and educational institutions to discuss current trends and innovations in the construction sector.
The Branch of BNTU "Intersectoral Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Personnel in Management and Development of Personnel" (IIASRP BNTU) actively participated in the exhibition, once again reaffirming its status as a leading center for continuing education for construction industry professionals.

The institute’s stand served as a platform for showcasing modern approaches to training and workforce development.

The thematic session "Personnel, Science, and Education," held as part of the exhibition on September 18, 2026, and moderated by Yuri Dmitrievich Primak, Dean of the Faculty of Construction and Real Estate at IIASRP BNTU, focused on the comprehensive development of human capital in the construction industry.

The program began with a speech by Natalya Vladimirovna Ruda, head of the department of scientific and analytical work and business training of RUE "BELSTROYTSENTR", who highlighted modern requirements for specialists in the context of the transition to professional standards.

Next, Anna Alexandrovna Penkovskaya—Head of the Training and Development Center at Keramin OJSC—shared practical insights regarding the implementation of a continuous learning system within the company’s own educational structures.
The experience of leading enterprises like Keramin demonstrates that establishing in-house training centers enables companies not only to rapidly adapt personnel to new technologies and regulatory requirements but also to ensure continuous professional development without interrupting production processes.

Olga Petrovna Evseeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Design and Packaging (Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarization, Belarusian National Technical University), demonstrated the prospects of applying an interdisciplinary approach in architecture and design to unlock students' creative potential.

Viktor Mikhailovich Trepachko, Director of the S.S. Atayev Institute of Housing (NIPTIS), raised pressing issues regarding the training of highly qualified scientific personnel.

The roundtable reaffirmed the status of IIASRP BNTU as a platform uniting academia, business, and education. Participants agreed on continued collaboration regarding the development of industry-wide workforce policies and the scaling up of project-based learning practices.
In summarizing the exhibition and conference, it is safe to say that the event served as a vital strategic platform for defining a unified direction for the development of the construction industry’s workforce and scientific-technical capabilities. A key outcome of the forum was the emergence of a clear consensus among professionals: sustainable growth and technological independence are impossible without establishing a seamless "education–science–industry" ecosystem.
