On September 24, 2026, Section No. 4, “Artificial Intelligence, Information Technologies and Elements of Computer-Aided Design in Engineering Education,” was held as part of the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovative Economy and Management: Methods and Technologies,” organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University (Higher School of Management and Innovation).
The section was held in a hybrid format. The moderators and some participants attended the meeting in person, while the majority of speakers — students, master’s students, postgraduate students and lecturers of the Belarusian National Technical University, as well as representatives of other educational institutions — joined the session online.
The section was chaired by Oleg A. Novikov, Associate Professor at the Higher School of Management and Innovation of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Candidate of Technical Sciences, and Valeria A. Martinovich, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Belarusian National Technical University.
The programme covered a wide range of relevant topics, from the application of artificial intelligence in education to the automation of engineering calculations and the development of intelligent control systems. Particular attention was paid to the integration of AI technologies into the training of engineering specialists, the digital transformation of industrial platforms and the application of computer-aided design in the educational process.
The participation of FITR students and lecturers in a conference of this level represents an important step in the development of the faculty’s research activities. The presented reports addressed both fundamental and applied aspects of the use of information technologies and artificial intelligence in engineering and education.
It is particularly noteworthy that junior-year students were among the speakers, demonstrating a high level of student involvement in research activities and their readiness to present the results of their work at an international academic platform.
The FITR Organizing Committee expresses its gratitude to Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Higher School of Management and Innovation for the invitation to participate and for the high level of organization of the conference. Special thanks are extended to the section moderators, Oleg A. Novikov and Valeria A. Martinovich, for their professional coordination of the session.
We wish all participants further scientific success and new achievements!
