The Art-Vacations Republican Festival of Artistic Creativity of Students and Young Adults has been held since 2003 and is the largest creative project for students. The festival is organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth.
This year, the festival was held under the motto "Chas molazi: hell create dumki da cancraty spray" and brought together students from 41 institutions of higher education in our country. As part of the qualifying round, the staff of the Department of Cultural Affairs presented a concert program with the creative idea of revealing the theme of the festival. The concert was highly appreciated by the jury members.
Minsk, as the youth capital of Belarus, hosted the final of a large-scale forum on May 22. The best groups and solo performers of the choreographic, vocal, instrumental, and theatrical genres took the stage at the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth. The Belarusian National Technical University was represented by the cultural department's groups at this grand event.
The People's Orchestra of Folk Instruments presented an hour-long musical program before the start of the gala concert. They performed folk music, classical pieces, and global hits. The audience greeted the group with thunderous applause.
The members of the folk choir chapel, as part of a large combined choir, performed the famous composition Zhurauli na Polessye lyatsyat by Igor Luchenko with great emotion. The composition Million of Voices performed by the soloists of the vocal and variety studio "In Love Soul" became a bright and memorable number of the concert. The groups of modern choreography performed in a single dance battle. The PSF group presented our university very brightly and creatively.
The event included a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners. The staff of the Department of Culture at BNTU was awarded 22 diplomas in various categories:
For many years of work on preserving and promoting the traditions of amateur youth creativity and the high level of skill of the teams, the Belarusian National Technical University was awarded the Grand Prix of the festival. This is a well-deserved award, which is preceded by a huge number of years of work by the entire staff of the Department of Culture of the BNTU.
