From April 24 to April 25, 2026, Kaldybai Arynov, Doctor of Architecture, Head of the Department of Architecture at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, visited the Faculty of Architecture of the Belarusian National Technical University. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for the development of cooperation between BNTU and the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

During the negotiations, the parties touched upon the development of academic mobility, the implementation of joint educational programs, the creation of joint scientific projects and research, the organization of joint scientific and educational events, the exchange of teaching practices and advanced training of teaching staff, joint publishing activities.

During Kaldybai Kanaevich's visit, a number of meetings were held with representatives of the BNTU.
The first meeting was held at the Abai Center for Kazakh Language, History and Culture with Pavel Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation, where they discussed the development of long-term and systematic cooperation between BNTU and the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
Kaldybai Arynov and Natalia Shulyakovskaya, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, discussed the prospects for the creation of joint scientific projects and research, the organization of scientific and educational events for the exchange of teaching practices and professional development of teaching staff and the organization of publishing activities.

A working meeting was also held with Natalia Lazovskaya, Head of the Department of Architecture of Residential and Public Buildings, and Professor Sergey Sergachev. At the end of the meeting, memorable gifts were presented — original copies of books.

The staff of the Department of Architecture of Industrial Facilities and Architectural Structures conducted a number of excursions around Minsk.

Thus, the two-day visit of Kaldybai Arynov, Doctor of Architecture, allowed us to outline concrete steps to expand academic mobility, launch joint educational programs and research projects, organize mutual internships and advanced training of teaching staff, as well as enhance publication activity. The signed interdepartmental agreement with the Department of Architecture of Residential and Public Buildings at BNTU and familiarization with the activities of the Belarusian Union of Architects, Museum and Exhibition sites lay a solid foundation for long-term and systematic cooperation between the two universities.
