Today, on April 10, the Belarusian National Technical University hosted the ceremony of awarding certificates of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the social support of gifted students. The honorary awards were awarded to 15 representatives of BNTU: a professor, a graduate student, 3 undergraduates, a graduate and 9 students.

The Vice-rector for Scientific Work of the BNTU, Ksenia Yakushenko, addressed the laureates with a welcoming speech.
– Today we welcome you at the ceremony of awarding certificates of the special fund for the support of gifted youth. This award is a recognition of your talent and the talent of your scientific supervisors, those BNTU employees who accompany you on your scientific journey. And this is recognition at the highest level, recognition from the head of our state. This foundation was created to light up new stars, support you and say that the state will support you in all your endeavors.

The presentation ceremony was continued by the rector of BNTU Sergey Kharitonchik. He stressed that the President's assessment is an important guideline, and the diploma of the winner of the special fund is a passport to tomorrow.
— It is very important for everyone that our President appreciates your personal achievements. A whole system has been created that deals with both the nomination and the evaluation of achievements. When we award diplomas to the laureates of the special fund, then, you know, we can treat this, of course, as the highest recognition in our country of an idea, a direction that you have laid down, but I treat it more like a ticket that gives a pass to a bright tomorrow, opens up many opportunities.: become a professional, a real expert in this field. It is a great pride and a great honor for everyone.
It's no secret that the future is closely linked to science, the development of society, and the achievement of results. The Rector focused on this issue once again.
— Today we need science! In order to obtain high yields, appropriate equipment, fertilizers and their application are needed. Using the example of each field: to achieve something, you need to enter into every process almost at the nanoscale. Only then do we achieve any results that nature itself really has the potential for. Science allows us to obtain knowledge that helps us manage processes and maximize the use of technology for the benefit of humanity. It should be emphasized that modern technologies should only improve our lives, especially in terms of ecology and food. Everything must be real, natural, and of high quality.
Sergey Vasilyevich noted that this worthy result is due not only to the laureates of the special fund, but also to their mentors.
— It is especially valuable that each of those present made their contribution to become a laureate of the special fund: a piece of soul, knowledge, work together with scientific supervisors — all this resulted in a result, withstood competition and deserves recognition.
I want to thank your mentors, thank you very much, well done, your work is visible, noticeable. Every year you perform such miracles, and the guys follow you. This is very cool. I wish there were even more of us, and the hall couldn't accommodate all the awardees. We will strive for this, and we will create all the conditions for it to be so. The President supports everyone who is talented in this area. Congratulations to everyone!

Pavel Serenkov, Head of the Department of Standardization, Metrology and Information Systems at the Faculty of Instrument Engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, was awarded the certificate of awarding the prize of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for a special contribution to the development of the abilities of gifted students and students.

The certificates of the special fund were also awarded to the laureates of the XXXI Republican Contest of scientific papers of students.:

The certificates were also awarded to the winners of the republican youth project "100 Ideas for Belarus", among them Yaroslav Barnatovich, a student at the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianism, and German Zhuravsky, a graduate student at the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics.

Certificates of the special Presidential Fund on the appointment of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus were awarded:

After the ceremony, Pavel Serenkov, who has received such a high award more than once, addressed the children. He noted that in the future, the certificate becomes a system of lifelong support, assistance with employment and a career elevator.
— I have already been a laureate of the President's special fund several times during my scientific and pedagogical career, and I have seen many people who subsequently determined and still determine the strategy of our country: technologies, structures, new materials, and so on. What can I say purely pragmatically? This is not just an award that Sergey Vasilyevich presented to you, it is also the supervision of your life by the employees of this foundation. For example, representatives of very reputable organizations are calling me now and saying: "we received a call from the President's special fund, there is such and such a laureate, a gifted young man, we would like to hire him." We have good feedback from our graduates, they say: "after three years of working in the organization, my director received a call from the President's special fund and was asked how the foundation's laureate was doing, what successes he had, and career prospects." Such unobtrusive tracking of the fate of people who have become laureates of the special fund of the President is moving. That's why I congratulate you. Sergey Vasilyevich noted that this is a good basis for you, a start-up capital that will really help you put yourself well in this life.

We are proud of the laureates of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the social support of gifted students. We wish them further success in their scientific and educational activities!
