Engineering students from the Vitebsk region visited the instrument-making faculty

Учащиеся инженерных классов из Витебской области посетили приборостроительный факультет

On February 12, 2026, the Instrumentation Engineering Faculty opened its doors to engineering students from Sharkovshchina Secondary School No. 1. The event combined a career guidance tour and practical classes held at two of the faculty's departments.

The meeting was organized by Elena Shcherbakova, Associate Professor of the Micro- and Nanoengineering Department, and Natalia Riznookaya, Associate Professor of the Information and Measurement Engineering and Technology Department. The tour began with the laboratories of the Micro- and Nanoengineering Department, where guests were shown the capabilities of an atomic force microscope and its operating principles, and were told about the faculty's specialties and areas of expertise. The students were able to not only observe, but also ask questions about real-world research problems being solved by students and faculty. The students then visited the Information and Measurement Engineering and Technology Department.

Here, Natalia Riznookaya gave students a tour of the modern Aercom Engineering and Technical Safety Laboratory. The students were shown fire alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance. The instructors discussed admissions issues in detail, including the benefits for engineering graduates.

In addition to the educational program, the guests were able to experience the student atmosphere and ask questions about employment prospects after graduating from BNTU. The visit of the students from Sharkovshchina once again confirmed that interest in engineering professions is growing throughout the country, and the Instrument Engineering Faculty is ready to offer high-quality training to future specialists.
