A district career guidance event was held in Vileika, Minsk Region, at the Vileika City House of Culture on February 14, 2026. Participants included representatives of the Vileika District Executive Committee, heads of organizations that contract with recruiters, representatives of higher education institutions, and students in grades 9–11 of vocational training (pedagogical classes) at general secondary schools.
Representatives of the Belarusian National Technical University, the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, awarded the Order of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labor, and the Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages, among others, spoke to the audience about the specifics of applying to educational institutions.
Mikhail Kuzemko, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Professional Training and Pedagogy, and Petr Samokhval, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sports Engineering, spoke to the audience about the specifics of applying to BNTU in 2026.
For reference: In 2026, the Institute of Applied Physics is recruiting students in two specialties: "Engineering and Teaching Activity" (full-time education specializations (FFPE): mechanical engineering, electric power engineering, construction, and applied programming; part-time education specializations (CPE): mechanical engineering, construction), leading to the qualification of "Engineer and Teacher"; and "Equipment and Technology for Vacuum, Compressor, and Low-Temperature Engineering" (FFPE and CPE specializations: vacuum and compressor engineering), leading to the qualification of "Engineer."
A quick survey was conducted among the students present about their future profession at the Belarusian National Technical University. Based on the results, the most active students received commemorative prizes and flyers from the university and the Engineering and Pedagogical and Sports and Technical Faculties.
