Career guidance at the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering in Vitebsk

    Students from Vitebsk high schools and schools had the opportunity to meet with the management, faculty, and students of the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering, as well as the management of  Dolomit OJSC, take an interactive test, and receive consultations on admission to the Belarusian National Technical University. Dean of the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering Andrei Kologrivko, General Director of  Dolomit OJSC Sergey Soglaev, and his deputy for personnel and ideological work Elena Marchenko presented the opportunities for obtaining higher education in mining and environmental engineering at a manufacturing enterprise. The creative atmosphere brought together the faculty's students and allowed them to once again highlight the priorities of the upcoming admissions campaign.

    The events were attended by high school students, teachers, head teachers, and principals from Vitebsk Secondary School No. 15 named after M. Ya. Chumanikhina, Vitebsk Gymnasium No. 1 named after Zh. I. Alferov, Vitebsk Secondary School No. 31 named after V.Z. Khoruzhaya, Vitebsk Secondary School No. 46 named after I.Kh. Baghramyan and Vitebsk Secondary School No. 47 named after E.F. Ivanovsky.

    A highlight of the meeting was the ceremonial initiation of students from Vitebsk Gymnasium No. 1 named after Zh.I. Alferov into the engineering class by representatives of BNTU.

    The management of  Dolomit OJSC briefed employees and students of the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering on production modernization trends and the development of operations at the Gralevo quarry.

    We wish future students success in choosing a profession and achieving their goals!
