On December 17, the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering was visited by high school students from Polotsk and the Polotsk district, accompanied by a methodologist from the Proforientir Resource Center Polotsk regional center for children and youth Barilova Nadezhda .
During the tour, the guests got acquainted with the students and staff of the faculty. Elizaveta Korotkaya, a teacher of the Department of Engineering Ecology, and Artem Sevostyanov, a student of the specialty "Mining", introduced the students to the world of students by showing classrooms and laboratories, telling the children about their everyday lives inside and outside of school.
To broaden students' understanding of professional activities in the field of mining, Dmitry Plaks, Associate Professor of the Mining Department, immersed the students in the fascinating world of geology and mining, and Inga Gvozdik, teacher of the English Language No. 1 Department, conducted a thematic game in English for the guests.
