Yesterday, November 25, 2025, the Belarusian National Technical University hosted a delegation from the Ordos Professional College of Ecology and the Environment (PRC). The purpose of the visit was to develop bilateral cooperation in the educational and scientific fields, as well as to strengthen international relations.
The Chinese delegation included Liu Shuwen, Deputy Head of the Center for Continuing Education and Training, Nie Erdong, Director of the Educational Department, Wang Laisheng, Head of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhang Zhanrong, head of the External Cooperation Department, Zhou Rong, head of the Mechatronics Training Department, and a representative of the “Hopo” Group Wu Mingshuang.
On behalf of BNTU, the meeting was attended by Anastasia Arabey, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Nikolay Vishnyakov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation, Anatoly Gulai, Head of the Department of Intelligent and Mechatronic Systems, Alexey Borodulya, Head of the Department of Robotic Systems, and Irina Kovaleva, Associate Professor of the Department of Software for Information Systems and Technologies.
During the negotiations, representatives of the Chinese college presented a video about their institution, described in detail its structure, scientific and pedagogical staff, educational directions and a well-developed laboratory base. They also noted a wide range of partnerships with enterprises, which ensures high efficiency of targeted training and stable employment of graduates.
The parties discussed possible formats of cooperation, including the development of academic mobility and the preparation of joint educational projects. Among the initiatives considered is the "3+2" program, which involves students studying for three years in China with the possibility of continuing their education at BNTU in accordance with curricula.
The visit was a step towards further exploring possible forms of interaction and allowed the parties to learn more about each other's educational potential.
