From April 4-5, 2024, a delegation of Tula State University, consisting of Rector Oleg Alexandrovich Kravchenko, Vice-rector for Scientific Work Mikhail Sergeyevich Vorotilin and head of the Department "Control Devices" Valery Vladimirovich Matveev, visited the Belarusian National Technical University.
Our university was represented by Rector Kharitonchik Sergey Vasilyevich, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Alexandrovich Nikolaychik, Vice-rector for Scientific Work Ksenia Valentinovna Yakushenko, Director of the branch of BNTU "Research Polytechnic Institute" Viktor Anatolyevich Kusyak, as well as deans of a number of faculties: Alexander Ivanovich Svistun (Faculty of Instrument Engineering), Igor Arkadyevich Ivanov (Faculty of Mechanics and Technology), Andrey Mikhailovich Avsievich (Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics) and Pavel Ivanovich Shirvel (Faculty of International Cooperation).
The purpose of the visit was to develop cooperation and diversify the areas of mutual work of universities in the field of scientific and educational activities.
Business negotiations were held on the organizing of joint scientific, educational, cultural and sports events, student exchange within the framework of academic mobility, and the internships for teaching staff on a mutual basis.
During the visit, the delegation of Tula State University also visited the Scientific and Technological Park of BNTU "Polytechnic" and the Faculty of Instrument Engineering, where they got acquainted with the scientific directions of the faculty and visited the research laboratories. At the faculty the delegation was received by Dean Alexander Ivanovich Svistun, Head of the Department of Laser Engineering and Technology Alexander Mikhailovich Malyarevich, Head of the Department of Information and Measuring Equipment and Technologies Roman Ivanovich Vorobey and Head of the Research Center for Optical Materials and Technologies Viktor Edwardovich Kisel.
During the visit, a cooperation agreement between the Belarusian National Technical University and Tula State University on the implementation of joint scientific and educational projects was signed.
