From December 5 to December 9, 2022 in Minsk on the basis of the Belarusian National Technical University the competitions of the Republican Universiade - 2022/2023 in mini-football among men's teams in group "A" were held, in which 12 teams took part: Educational Institution "Grodno State Agrarian University" (GRGAU); Educational Institution "Belarusian State Pedagogical University" (BSPU); Educational Institution "Belarusian State University of Food and Industrial Technologies" (BSUT); establishment of education "Belarusian State University" (BSU); Educational Institution "Gomel State University" (GomGU); Educational Institution "Brest State Technical University" (BrSTU); Educational Institution "Belarusian National Technical University" (BNTU); Educational Institution "Vitebsk State Technological University" (VitSTU); Educational Institution "Grodno State University" (GRGU); Educational Institution "Belarusian State University of Transport" (BelSUT); Educational Institution "Polesye State University" (Polesye State University); Educational Institution "Belarusian State Technological University" (BSTU).
All 12 teams were divided into 4 groups according to the draw. The winner of each group advances to the final. From the four groups, the following teams reached the final: BNTU, BSPU, BSU, BGUT.
In the preliminary stage BNTU played with the team of GrSAU with a score of 3:1.
The final four teams are held according to the Olympic system, when the first game is determined by lot. Further struggle is for 1st-2nd place among the winning teams in each game, and for 3rd-4th place among the losing teams in each game.
On December 8, the semi-final game between the teams of BGUT and BNTU took place. The game ended with the score 1:1. In the first minutes of the game, Dmitry Kuzma, a student of the Faculty of Energy, scored a goal. As a result of the game, it was decided to appoint a penalty shoot-out. On penalties, having beaten the BGUT team, the BNTU team won.
In the final for the 3rd-4th place, the BSU team fought with the BSUT team, and for the 1-2nd place, the teams of BNTU and BSPU.
On December 9, our coach A.S. was sent off in the final. Komarov, students Timofey Karpuk and Donat Kovalchuk scored the ball during a hard struggle during the game, the final score of the game was 2:2, in the penalty shoot-out BNTU lost to BSPU.
Final result:
BSPU - 1st place,
BNTU - 2nd place,
BGU - 3rd place.
The coach of the BNTU national team, the senior lecturer of the Department of Sport, Drachevsky Valery Viktorovich, comments: “The level of the four strongest teams is so equal in strength that the winners of all games in the final part were determined by penalties. In the last 2-3 years, our team has been changing generations of the playing roster, and today we are back among the leaders of the Universiade from 7th place, we have young players in our roster, so this result is the foundation for further victories.”

Comment of the head of the department "Sport" Kovel S.G.: "The fact that our men's futsal team "Dynamo-BNTU" plays in the Championship of the Republic of Belarus among the teams of the major league has a great influence on the result of the competition, 80% of the composition of this team - our students. In addition, since 2020 we have a youth team "Dynamo-BNTU-UNI", in which students under 18 play. Also, I want to note that this second place is the result of the hard work of the coaching staff of the teachers of the Department of Sport: the young Alexander Sergeevich Komarov and the experienced Valery Viktorovich Drachevsky, they taught young players a confident and well-coordinated game in a short period of time!
