Department : Laser Technique and Technology

For many years, the Department of Laser Engineering and Technology of the Belarusian National Technical University has been cooperating with the Science and Technology Center "LEMT" of BelOMO in the field of training specialists who successfully work at this enterprise. The enterprise "LEMT" specializes in research, development, and production of optoelectronic and laser devices for civil purposes (laser rangefinders, laser medical equipment, etc.) and special purposes (optical sights, optoelectronic devices for unmanned aerial vehicles, laser-optical systems, etc.).

In April 2026, the enterprise "LEMT" provided gratuitous (sponsorship) assistance to the Department of Laser Engineering and Technology in the form of equipment for conducting classes in the disciplines "Elements of Optical Instruments," "Design of Optoelectronic Instruments," "Design of Optical Instruments," and "Optoelectronic Instruments and Systems."

The Instrumentation Engineering Faculty expresses its sincere gratitude to the Science and Technology Center "LEMT" of BelOMO — our long-term reliable partner — and personally to the Director of the enterprise, Academician Alexey Petrovich Shkadarevich, for their assistance in training qualified engineering personnel for the Republic of Belarus.
