School for young people: lasers and optics - the way to the future
Lasers and optical devices are part of our everyday life today. They are present everywhere - in video surveillance systems, vehicle control, air and water transport, not to mention spacecraft, medicine, industry and materials processing, communications and information transfer.
The future cannot be imagined without optical and laser systems - these are our eyes and orientation systems. The vast majority of experts agree that humanity is on the verge of the next industrial revolution, which will be ensured by the development of laser technologies.
The creation of new devices is a responsible process; it is presented in the form of a chain: the creation of an idea (human), its implementation (robotic devices based on laser technologies) and the implementation of the development (human).
So it’s worth trying to become a participant in this process!
The work of the school for young people in the direction “Lasers and optics - the path to the future” takes place every first Saturday of the month from 10.15 to 11.00 in the interactive classroom of the department “Laser Engineering and Technology” (Ya. Kolasa St., 22, educational building BNTU No. 17, 6th floor , room 608).
Additionally, we conduct master classes for organized groups on other days from 13.00 to 17.00 (by prior agreement).
