On February 11, 2019, by order of the Rector of the BNTU (No. 1847 dated October 26, 2018), the Department of Engineering Economics was formed in the structure of the Faculty of Engineering by joining the Department of Economics and Organization of Engineering Production of the Faculty of Engineering (established on February 11, 1967) of the Department of Economics and management of scientific research, design and production" of the instrument-making faculty (founded on January 23, 1988 ).
