Today, August 3, an open meeting of the Admissions Committee for applicants to general and specialized higher education on a fee-paying basis was held in the main building of the Belarusian National Technical University.
The meeting was chaired by a presidium consisting of the Chair of the Admissions Committee, BNTU Rector Sergei Kharitonchik; the Deputy Chair of the Admissions Committee, First Vice-Rector Andrei Safonov; and the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, Director of the Institute of Integrated Forms of Learning and Education Monitoring Natalia Afanasyeva.
During the event, the deans of the faculties delivered reports, announcing the final passing scores and the results of the competitive selection process. Based on the data presented, the Admissions Committee members approved the final lists of admitted applicants. Based on the results of the fee-paying admissions campaign, 759 first-year students joined the university (421 full-time and 338 part-time). The maximum passing score was 332 for the architecture major at the Faculty of Architecture (full-time, full-time). The highest competition was observed at the International Institute of Distance Education for the software engineering major (part-time, shortened) – 6.4 applicants per place.
Thus, during the 2026 admissions campaign, BNTU admitted 4,052 people.
