    Students of this program gain in-depth knowledge in economic disciplines such as micro- and macroeconomics, enterprise economics and statistics, marketing and management, logistics, project management, corporate finance, accounting and international financial reporting standards (IFRS), investment planning, international economics and foreign economic activities, fundamentals of intellectual property management, among others. They also study engineering subjects like engineering graphics, materials science, technical mechanics, principles of ecological and energy sustainability in production, production organization, labor organization and standardization, and more.

    Specialization: Business Processes in Industrial Enterprises: Students learn to model and develop businesses, maintain company balance amid any changes in enterprise operations or market conditions, thereby enhancing the company's value for customers. They acquire additional theoretical knowledge and practical skills in market research, business process engineering and reengineering, risk management and insurance, quality management and product certification, enterprise flow process management, operational management at machine-building enterprises, enterprise valuation, theory of inventive problem solving, fundamentals of machine design, manufacturing technology, and more.

    Specialization: Digital Production: Students gain economic, project management, information-analytical, and other skills. They study information technologies and modern products in production at all stages of the product lifecycle. Special focus is on learning innovation economics, innovation management, econometric methods and models, digital marketing, digital production ecosystems, digital production management systems, personnel management, measuring instruments and systems, technologies for electromechanical, electronic, and optoelectronic production, and more.

    Qualification: Graduates receive the qualification of Engineer-Economist, which allows them to start their careers at industrial enterprises in mechanical engineering and instrumentation of any ownership form, in positions corresponding to the National Classifier of the Republic of Belarus OKRB 014-2017 "Occupations" (the provided list is not exhaustive and can be expanded).

 Military Service Candidates!

During their studies, students who are liable for military service have the opportunity to undergo a two-level training program at the BNTU Military-Technical Faculty, earning the following ranks:

  1. First Level: Sergeant
  2. Second Level: Reserve Lieutenant

This expands the range of positions available to graduates, both within the Armed Forces and in other security agencies of the Republic of Belarus.


Graduate Education (Master's Degree)

Master's Degree Program in Engineering Business

The preparation of Master of Science graduates in full-time and part-time formats is carried out in the field of specialization: 7-06-0718-01 "Engineering Business" at the department. The program offers two specializations: "Innovative Development of Industrial Enterprises" and "Production Systems and Operational Efficiency".

Students pursuing their master's degree study subjects such as engineering economics, technological strategies of organization, management of high-tech productions, competitiveness of engineering business, business process engineering, analysis and program management of enterprise information resources, among others.

The master's program is open not only to graduates from the "Engineering Economics" department but also to professionals with higher education in economics or engineers who have undergone retraining in economic specializations at the higher education level. During this stage, students delve deeper into subjects such as engineering economics, technological strategies of organization, management of high-tech productions, competitiveness of engineering business, business process engineering, and analysis and program management of enterprise information resources.

Upon completion of their dissertation research and based on the decision of the State Examination Commission, graduates are awarded the degree of "Master of Science". This qualification enables them to manage structural divisions of industrial enterprises of any form of ownership in fields such as business analytics; business development; marketing; finance, planning, logistics; strategic development; business process engineering and reengineering; implementation of new equipment and technology; labor organization; human resources management; labor standardization; production organization and management; project management; and more.

Doctoral Program in Economics and Management

Our doctoral program in Economics and Management prepares students for careers in academia and industry leadership. Offered in full-time, part-time, or candidacy formats, the program focuses on rigorous research and advanced studies in:
